Tryfan

Tryfan in Snowdonia is one of the United Kingdom's most dramatic and challenging mountains. An ascent of its North Ridge, coupled with an ascent of Glyder Fach's Bristly Ridge, makes for possibly the finest day's scrambling south of Scotland. Recently voted as Britain's favourite mountain in Trail magazine, it is a mountain of superlatives. To cap it all off, its summit is crowned with the twin monoliths: Adam and Eve; to jump between them is said to give you the freedom of Tryfan - whatever that means! Saturday 23rd July 2016 was my first day in Snowdonia. Where better to start than this majestic mountain?
