The Alex Rambles YouTube channel's inception took place on a hike in the Western Fells of The Lake District in February 2016 and since then has seen over 40 episodes and over 80,000 views on YouTube. The channel follows journeys across many of the United Kingdom's classic mountain environments, as well as a few further afield.

British highlights include classic ridge traverses, such as Striding Edge, Crib Goch, The Aonach Eagach and Liathach; winter routes in the Cairngorms, The Lake District and Snowdonia and popular favourites such as Haystacks, Catbells and The Cobbler.

Other highlights include an ascent of 4000 metre alpine peak Gran Paradiso, Skyrunning above Chamonix and a gorgeous few days spent in the shadow of the unmistakable Matterhorn. In the Italian Prealps, there's an interesting hike up Resegone by Lake Como. Meanwhile, further afield there's an ascent of Japan's iconic Mt Fuji.
